Colin identified a suitable property, explained the process to us, and submitted an offer on our behalf. Although the seller's agent initially expressed reluctance due to unfamiliarity with the loan assumption process, Colin's ability to clearly articulate and advocate for this option persuaded the agent to discuss it with the seller. The offer was accepted with the understanding that the process would require at least four months to complete.Midway through the transaction, the seller considered withdrawing due to concerns about the duration of the process.
